How To Lose Your Blog Traffic In 10 Days

Day 1: Blog boring. Tell everyone what you had for lunch, how many pages you wrote, and that #2 pencils are on sale at your local Wal-Mart.

Day 2: Ignore visitors. Don’t respond to anyone who actually commented on Day 1.

Day 3: Blog TMI. Tell all of your embarrassing secrets, and some of your relatives’ secrets while you’re at it.

Day 4: Blog mad. Yell at all of the people (mostly relatives) who commented on Day 3.

Day 5: Delete your RSS feed. That’ll get rid of your relatives and no one else was subscribing anyway. And you don’t care.

Day 6: TYPE IN ALL CAPS. PEOPLE LOVE THAT.

Day 7: Blog that you have nothing to blog about.

Day 8: Never visit or comment on any other blogs. Who cares about those other people?

Day 9: Blog that you’re too busy to blog. You’re pretty important.

Day 10: Don’t blog at all. (You might as well not.)

*In case you want to do the opposite, here’s a great article on how to build blog traffic.
